I know I don’t offer too many posts under the “personal” category. So let me offer you one of my proudest acheivements. Yesterday, I received the much coveted “Peasant of the Year” award at a performance of Spamalot, at the Ogunquit Playhouse. King Arthur and his band of Knights were searching for the Holy Grail throughout the performance, and apparently, it was “under my seat”. So I got to join the cast on stage for a bit, and was presented with this award. It was all very exciting, and I barely had time to think, but the one thought that I did have was…OMG, if only I had a picture of this! And voila, one of the cast appeared with a Polaroid and snapped this photo. Its not very clear, but it will have to do. I’m the one who is not wearing chain mail.
I’ve been a Python fan for many years, so this was great! And all the performances at the Ogunquit Playhouse are worth seeing. The cast and crew are incredibly talented and put so much work into everything…the performance, sets, costumes, make up, music…we’re really lucky to have this resource in the Seacoast. Here’s the trailer from Spamalot:
